Nannostomus trifasciatus (Lebiasinidae)
The three-lined pencilfish requires shady vegetation but also swimming space.
Though the female lays prolifically (around 1,000 eggs), hatching and rearing are
traditionally considered difficult. Size: 5-6 cm.
